Polyurethane hot melt adhesive is a kind of hot melt adhesive made of polyurethane resin or prepolymer as the main material and various additives (such as catalyst, antioxidant, tackifier and filler), that is pur hot melt adhesive.

Because it contains isocyanate group (- NCO) and urethane group (- nhcoo -) with strong polarity and high chemical activity, it has excellent chemical adhesion with various materials. Moreover, the hydrogen bond between polyurethane and the bonded material will increase the polymer cohesion and make the bonding more firm.
